Field tests with live fire in a controlled environment were conducted on August 1. Two firefighters wore Safefire prototypes beneath their standard gear during these tests. The aim was to simulate body movements in real-life scenarios of equipment handling and firefighting.

The tests were carried out at Adai – LEIF | Forest Fire Research Laboratory, located at the Lousã Aerodrome.
